About
I have been a licensed Family Child Care Provider since 2007. I received Maryland Child Care Credential Level 4 Provider and a member of the Family Child Care Association of Montgomery County. I am CPR, First Aid and Emergency Preparedness trained. MMSR (Maryland Model for School Readiness) Pre-K Program certified. I have been awarded the Montgomery County Early Childhood Initiative Scholarship which I used to get my 90 Hour Pre-School Certificate. I have detailed information on all other Professional Development that I have completed.
Mission
My mission is to provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children while in our care. My focus is to provide an encouraging educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Committed to the families I serve, I strive to give parents complete peace of mind while being seen as a shining example of what a quality childcare center should be
Vision
The ultimate vision I have is twofold and rooted in both the present and the future. For the present, my goal is for parents to feel good about their childcare choice, knowing that their children are safe, engaged, educated, and smiling. And, for the future, I want these children to look back at their experience with us and see it as a cherished part of their childhood.
Philosophy
Children learn best in a nurturing child-initiated play-base environment. That fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy, and acceptance of individual differences. We don't direct the children, but provide opportunities for them to create their own discoveries.
